72 hour kit
< Back to Emergency Preparedness
Putting together a 72 hour kit for your family, so that you are prepared in case of an emergency. It is important to include a three day supply of food and water, per person, when no refrigeration or cooking is available; as well as medication, clothing, bedding, light, equipment, first aid, personal items, money, and personal documents. There are pre-packaged 72 hour kits you can purchase - great way to get started, and then add personal items to the kit. Keep basic 72 hour kit in each car, at work, and a more complete kit at home.
